The Portland Art Museum in Portland, Oregon is expanding, with the addition of the Rothko Pavilion which will connect the museums existing Mark and Main buildings. The expansion adds 32,000 square feet of community and exhibit space. Computrols began its partnership with the museum in 2018 and is pleased to be a part of this expansion project.
In 2022 Computrols completed a campus wide retrofit project upgrading all legacy HVAC controls with Computrols Lifetime Warranty Direct Digital Controllers. Construction on the Rothko expansion starts in January 2023 and the project is expected to be completed by January of 2025. Computrols will be providing and installing our U.S. manufactured LX and UNI-C controllers for this project. These controllers along with CBAS will be utilized to maintain environmental conditions while prioritizing efficiency.
