Computrols has begun working on two integration projects to Teletrol HVAC controls systems. The first project is located at 24 Waterway Avenue in The Woodlands, TX and the second is at 400 Oceangate in Long Beach, CA.
24 Waterway
24 Waterway is a Class A office building located within The Woodlands Town center, just outside of Houston. The building is approximately 300,000 square feet, 268,000 of which is office space and 40,000 of which is retail space.
At this site, Computrols will be replacing nine network-level Teletrol controllers with our lifetime-warranty LX Controllers. Computrols Houston team will utilize these controllers to communicate N2 to the existing Trane self-contained units (SCUs) and BACnet to the Teletrol variable air volume (VAV) boxes. In addition to providing the integrated solution, a core Computrols infrastructure will be put into place. Computrols Building Automation Software (CBAS) will be utilized as the new, intuitive user interface. CBAS will provide superior control over the energy usage of the facility as well as provide a comfortable working environment for building occupants. In addition to CBAS, 24 Waterway will also be equipped with CBAS Web for remote access and overtime air scheduling and billing.
400 Oceangate
400 Oceangate is a 157,000 square foot Class A office building located in the heart of Long Beach.
Computrols will be providing and installing a new Computrols headend computer loaded with Computrols Building Automation Software that will serve as the new, intuitive user interface for the building staff. Additionally, Computrols will replace eight 186 controllers and one 486 controller with our lifetime-warranty LX controllers. These new LX controllers will not only take over the rooftop equipment hosted by the existing 486 controllers, but the LX controllers on every other floor will host existing VAVs through our Teletrol interface solution.
