Computrols recently completed another hybrid integration project for several buildings on the Southeastern Louisiana University (SELU) campus. The SELU campus has several chilled water and boiler plants located within the various buildings on campus. Computrols flagship lifetime warranty LX controllers were utilized to control these chilled water and boiler plants with a complete and comprehensive reprogramming of the plant control sequences. The Computrols Serial Connector, with its simple and compact design, was leveraged to provide the hardware platform for the integration of the AHU and VAV BACnet channels located throughout the campus.

The hybrid integration allowed us the flexibility to continue to utilize the controls that were working, replace and reprogram what was not working, and to make changes based on the customers needs and wants all while working within their budget.
