Now partnering with Air-Tec out of Carson, CA, Computrols has inked a deal with it’s 8th new distribution partner of 2020. Despite the ongoing pandemic, the building automation manufacturer has continued to find new partners that match its ethos of putting the customer first, and Air-Tec is no different.
Established in 1969 in the garage of owner Clay Dunn, Air-Tec has been serving the Southern California market for over 50 years and has become one of the western region’s largest HVAC companies. Now offering a full, comprehensive range of services including design, custom manufacturing, and installation, the company has serviced thousands of facilities over the years.
“When Air-Tec first reached out, I touched base with a number of my contacts in Southern California to try to get a feel for the kind of company they were”, said Scott Holstein, Computrols Director of Marketing and Business Development. “I was overwhelmed by the positive feedback I received regarding their customer service and the quality of their work, and knew this would be a good match.”
When asked about the two companies partnering, Air-Tec owner Clay Dunn said, “We are continually looking for new innovations that will help our clients become more efficient in their operations, and Computrols definitely fit the bill. Based on what we’ve heard from their customers, they also operate with integrity which we hold above all else.”
Although the companies only made their partnership official a week ago, the two have already begun working on a number of opportunities together, particularly around integrating with legacy third-party systems. Air-Tec Project Manager, Kurt Kredel stated, “One of the really exciting things about bringing on this solution is the ability to put our existing customers in the driver’s seat of their building automation systems for the first time. We have always been in the business of doing what is best for our customers, and we believe leveraging the Computrols system will help our customers gain better control of their systems and the cost to maintain them.”
Both Air-Tec and Computrols have a strong foothold in the Commercial Real Estate market in Los Angeles and Orange county and believe their partnership will only make doing business with their respective companies more appealing.
