2019 was another year of growth for Computrols. This year we grew in the number of employees, customers, distribution partners, and branch locations, and we were also recognized by Louisiana Economic Development for our excellence in manufacturing.
October was an active month at Computrols headquarters just outside of New Orleans, LA. We celebrated our 36-year anniversary and manufacturing month. Don’t miss your final chance to get training on Computrols Building Automation System in 2019. We’ll be hosting our CBAS Level I Training Course from December 11th to the 13th at our state-of-the-art training facility just outside of New Orleans, LA.
On Monday, October 14th, Computrols will be exhibiting at the MSCA19 Conference put on by the Mechanical Service Contractors of America. The conference will be held at The Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado and feature three full days of educational sessions, an exhibitor trade show, and a number of optional activities for attendees.
Whenever patriotic holidays like Independence Day come along each year, I feel so much pride in the fact that we design and manufacture our products in the United States of America. This month, we also celebrated “Made In America” Week from July 14th to July 20th. All week, the White House honored those companies making an effort to revitalize the U.S. economy by keeping their workforce on our home soil.
In 2018, Computrols CEO, Drew Mire spoke alongside long-time Computrols customer, David Handwork at the Annual APPA Conference in Washington, D.C. I recently visited one of our customers who expressed to me the fact that he really likes the header points feature in CBAS but wished that he could have more than two points. For those of you not familiar, this software feature allows for you to display any two database points just under the menu bar. These points and their values are displayed consistently regardless of what user is logged in. Furthermore, as with all CBAS point values, the values are updated in real time.
This week, Computrols brought our CBAS Level I training course to three of our customers in Southern California. Computrols Manager of Strategic Partnerships, Mike Clayton was joined by our Dallas Branch Manager, Jeff Burnett, and Southern California Branch Manager, Andrew Walton, in conducting training courses onsite at National University, the San Diego Airport Rental Car Facility, and the Intersect Campus in Irvine.Continue reading Computrols Takes Training On The Road
Where did 2018 go? For Computrols, it seemed to go by in the blink of an eye. It was a year filled with new customers, new faces, and the opening of our new corporate headquarters. As lively a year as 2018 was, we couldn’t be more excited about what we have coming up. But first, let’s take a look back at what happened over the last 365 days.
