JCI Interfacing

The Computrols Johnson Controls Interface is a full-featured, professionally engineered, interface from a Computrols Building Automation System (CBAS) to any number of Metasys controllers using the N2 protocol. Designed and built in our USA-based production facility, the interface has been fully tested and used in many existing field applications. The interface turns Metasys™ and third-party N2 controllers into Computrols controllers.

This system includes support for AHU, VMA, VAV, UNT, and DX9100 controllers. Some controllers allow you to retain existing programming, or to program directly from CBAS. Using a single 8X controller, you can host two N2 communication channels. Third-party meters and VFD units using N2 protocol can be programmed into the system using the manufacturers' point list.

Computrols controllers can easily be used to replace failed controllers on the same N2 bus. Programming can be converted to reside on the Host controller, making it independent from the head-end and eliminating the NEA controller. The system includes diagnostic LEDs and a traffic screen in CBAS for troubleshooting purposes.
