Destination Dispatch
The Computrols access control system is capable of interfacing with two of the elevator industries leading manufacturers. The access system offers an ethernet interface to both Thyssen Krupp and Motion Control Engineering's destination based system. The destination system groups people based on desired floor which reduces the number of stops and increases efficiency. The Computrols access system grants or denies access based on user credentials. This cutting edge interface allows passengers to get to their destination quickly and securely.
Web Interface
With the CBAS web interface card modifications, card additions, reporting, and controlling doors can all be processed from any web browser. The easy to use interface allows users to access the system from anywhere. Access control administrators save time by allowing tenants to request cards via the web. In addition to being web ready the CBAS web user interface is also accessible via mobile and tablet devices. This offers users a truly versatile system which can be accessed anywhere.
Access 8X Controller
The Access 8X Controller serves as the workhorse of Computrols access control system providing boosted on-board memory capable of storing up to 50,000 access cards. Further, the Access 8x’s communication trunk allows up to 80 points of entry to communicate directly to the CBAS software front end.
AC-3 Access Controller
The AC-3 Access Controller provides programmed access control using CBAS Access Control software. The point count is perfect for single door control. Use several together in places like garages where more than one reader is required. And the AC-3’s small footprint makes it perfect for hard to reach enclosures. A seven segment keypad requiring a PIN number can also be added for extra security. The flexible Wiegand input allows inputs from an array of card reader vendors including proximity, bar code, and magnetic strip readers.
AC-5 Access Controller
The AC-5 Access Controller is ideal for multi-level biohazard laboratories, clean rooms, or any facility where door lockout is needed for negative or positive, ante-room to isolation-room scenarios. The AC-5 provides programmed access control using CBAS Access Control software. And the AC-5’s small footprint makes it perfect for hard to reach enclosures. Binary Board
The Computrols Binary Board is an 8 point binary output relay board that talks RS-485 to a Computrols X-line controller. The Computrols binary board uses either the OPTO 22 protocol or the Modbus RTU protocol. The 8 binary output points on the controller can be configured to be sustained or momentary outputs using the Computrols handheld.
Greenway Plaza
Greenway Plaza is a 10 building 7 garage complex in Houston, TX that sits on 51.7 acres of land. Computrols recently took over the existing Ccure security system with the state of the art Computrols access control system. As a part of the transition Computrols imported in excess of 35,000 cards from the existing system. In addition Computrols software engineers made a custom software program which automatically synced the two systems during the transition. 2 of the 10 buildings at Greenway Plaza have MCE destination dispatch elevator systems. Computrols engineers worked with MCE engineers to create a custom ethernet interface which integrates the two systems.
Bank of America Plaza
Bank of America Plaza is a 41 story class A building located in the heart of downtown Tampa. Computrols recently took over the existing Next Sentry access control system. In addition to taking over the base building and garage system, Computrols engineers worked with Thyssen Krupp engineers to interface to the destination dispatch elevator system that was being installed. The interface between the two systems is done via a single cat 5. In addition Computrols software engineers worked with building management to design a customized web based user interface to the Computrols software.

The CSimon fire protection system is the newest member of Computrols’ family of building automation products. CSimon not only delivers cutting edge analog addressable fire detection and control, but it also integrates seamlessly with 3rd party devices as well as Computrols’ legendary CBAS software. Each CSimon panel boasts an on-board high-speed TCP/IP network connection, complete stand-alone operation, and a powerful yet simple user interface.
