- Switch to Utility Mode and open your db
- Select System > Scale Database
- Generally you will need to scale a controller’s db and not theDPU
- Select the controller whose db you wish to scale
- Find an item which has none of its records used and click in the ‘Num Records’ field – Adjust this number by SUBTRACTING a number of records from it
- You can zero out an unneeded record
- Select the ‘Num Records’ field for the item that was maxed out – Adjust this number by ADDING what you subtracted from the previous step
- Save db and close CBAS Utility Mode when done
- Open CBAS Real Mode and select Hardware View
- Select the controller of the db you just scaled
- Select ‘Erase Database’
- You can either select ‘Force Database Download to Controller’ or just wait – Either way the db will load up to the controller.
