How do I address an AC2?
If you are looking at the AC2 and the text is oriented correctly (AC2 is at the top) you will see above the dipswitch block ‘LSB’ (Least Significant Bit) and underneath the dipswitch block you will see ‘1 MSB 0’ (Most Significant Bit) Basically the dip labeled 8 is actually the first in the series and the one labeled 1 is the last.
It will look like this:
LSB—————-
8 = 1
7 = 2
6 = 4
5 = 8
4 = 16
3 = 32
2 = 64
1 = 128——————
MSB 0
For example, a controller with address 10 would have switch 5 and 7 in the ON position. 8 + 2 = 10
Address 97 would have switches 2, 3, and 8 in the ON position. 64 + 32 + 1 = 97
