Why won't my Computrols Commission program work?
The OCX files must be in the same directory as Commision. The program did not register the activeX controls before but does now whenever it starts. The ActiveX controls start with Cax and end with .ocx. Like, CaxButton.ocx and CaxCombo.ocx and CaxMenu.ocx. You can take the ocx files from any CBAS folder and put them in a folder with the Commission program.
To register ocx files files manually: Right click on one of the ocx files and click Open With. Again, click the Open With button then the Other button. Browse to C:winntsystem32 and select regsvr32.exe. Click Open, then check the box next to “Always use this….” You should get a register succeeded message. The rest of the ocx files should register when you open Commission. If they don’t, repeat the process above with all the ocx files.
